Suffering limb loss is a life changing event and we are here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have about your amputation or prosthetic device.  We are committed to helping you navigate the issues that arise as a result of limb loss. We are amputees working with amputees and we believe it is important to build relationships with our patients and their families. 

We are a small, family owned business founded in 1990, by Jim McClanahan, CP and Maurice Adkins, both amputees, who believed it was important to help other amputees regain their mobility with comfortable fitting prosthetics made specifically to meet each individual’s needs. With the addition of Shayne Adkins, CP, in 1999, the business grew to two generations.

We are an ABC Accredited facility and all our Prosthetists and Technicians are ABC Certified as well.  Our focus is and always has been, on  our patients. Our mission is to provide our patients with quality care and prosthetics and assist them in returning to a normal, productive stage of life.

We work as a team with you and your physician and therapist to determine the most appropriate prosthesis for your own, individual needs.  We also work with physicians and patients at the VA Hospital-Cooper Drive and at Cardinal Hill Hospital on Waller Drive.
